The essence of Woodhouse Chocolate is freshness and so we will do everything within our power to ensure that your confections arrive in perfect condition.
During all but the coolest months of the year we do not ship packages to be in transit over weekends. Chocolate can melt when sitting in a warm warehouse!
When you check out you will be asked to choose a future delivery date. We will make every effort to facilitate the arrival of your order on that date, but it is not guaranteed. Woodhouse Chocolate will not be held responsible for delays in delivery time or date caused by the shipping company for any reason including, but not limited to weather, missed flights, trucks, etc.
Depending on location we ship Ground/Home Delivery Monday through Thursday. Ground can take up to three days for delivery and so, for more distant locations, we may only be able to ship your order on a Monday or Tuesday.
We ship Express Saver Monday and Tuesday.
We ship Second Day Monday thru Wednesday.
We ship Standard/Priority Overnight Monday thru Thursday.
We ship Saturday Delivery on Friday.

We do not ship via USPS and cannot ship to PO Boxes, APOs or FPOs.
All orders are shipped in such a way as to help regulate temperature and preserve freshness. When necessary, but particularly to warmer climates, your order may ship with gel ice.
Woodhouse Chocolate cannot be responsible for heat damage to packages not shipped by an Overnight service.
Woodhouse Chocolate cannot be responsible for packages left outside after delivery.
Please open your package immediately upon delivery. Woodhouse Chocolate will not be held responsible for any problems not reported to us within the first 72 hours after the package is listed as delivered by the shipping service. This includes packages sent as gifts.
Woodhouse Chocolate may contact you about changes to your shipping arrangements as necessary.
Woodhouse Chocolate is not responsible for incorrect or deliverable recipients and addresses. Please check the accuracy of the shipping address and include a company name, suite and/or apartment number if necessary. A correct phone number for the recipient is essential.

Chocolate ships all orders "no signature required" so that your
package will not be delayed. We are not responsible for packages stolen or
damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer.
Shipping companies may of their own free will decide to require a signature for any package even though Woodhouse Chocolate has not asked for one. We are not responsible if this causes the delay or even eventual return of your package.
Shipping rates are charged per address and calculated using the following schedule.
You must order a minimum of $30 in merchandise for EACH shipping address.
Ground/Home Delivery: Package will be delivered Tuesday through Friday and may arrive at any time up to 6 pm or later. Federal Express does not guarantee the delivery date of this service.
Express Saver: Package will be delivered the 3rd business day after the day of shipment. Deliveries usually take place in the afternoon but can be delivered up to 6 pm or later.
2 Day: Package will be delivered on the 2nd business day after the day of shipment. Deliveries usually take place in the afternoon but can be delivered up to 6 pm or later.
Standard Overnight: Package will be delivered the next business day after the day of shipment. Deliveries usually take place in the afternoon but can be delivered up to 6 pm or later.
Priority Overnight: Package will be delivered the next business day after the day of shipment. Deliveries usually take place before noon to commercial destinations.
Saturday Delivery: Package will be delivered on Saturday. Deliveries usually take place by noon to commercial destinations.
Due to the nature of our product, we cannot accept returns.
